What to do if information is missing

Where books are edited collections and you are referencing the whole book then it is normal practice to refer to the editor instead of authors. In some cases there will be more than one editor. However it is extremely rare to have more than three editors and if this occurs the user will have to add the extra editors into the reference list and bibliography.

You can add / edit up to three editors to your citation. The initial 'Add / Edit Citation Window' has space for one editor.

To add / edit more than one editor:

  1. Enter / edit the details of the first editor and then click the 'More..' button.
  2. A new window will open allowing you to add / edit two more editors. Enter the editor details and click 'Close'.
